How do you show gratitude? Why should you show gratitude? Being grateful fills your heart with peace and happiness and it is hard to be upset, depressed or angry when you have a grateful mindset. Gratitude gives you a new and different perspective and takes the focus off of yourself and your problems. Being grateful can be a super small act such as seeing a flower growing out of the concrete, or being thankful for a warm meal in front of you.
All so often our days are filled with others requests and demands and our focus is on just getting through our day and tasks at hand. Hard to be grateful when the boss is yelling at you to get your work done faster. But what if you didn’t have that job? Didn’t have that paycheck? It’s so easy to complain about what we don’t like in our life but let’s turn it around and complain about what we DO LIKE in our life.
